Despite being originally from New Orleans, I lost the southern accent a long time ago. I have had the wonderful opportunity to study and teach different aspects of Judaism all over the world. My international experiences have led me to Toronto, London, Venice, New York, Gijón, Jerusalem, Paris and Berlin. Working in Universities, schools, museums and corporations has made me the malleable educator I am today. As a Jewish woman of Polish-Yemenite descent, I believe that my unique fusion of academic and intimate understanding of Jewish history, culture, anti-Semitism, and life in the Diaspora, gives me unique insight.
